Room was a good size and it's in a convenient location, but smoke detector in bathroom bleeped every half an hour waking us up. The window was damaged so the double glazing wouldn't shut, making it noisy as it's on a main road.
As the photos of our 'executive room' show, the room was not to standard.
Check in was poor, then the shutters on reception were down in the evening and in the morning and we couldn't find any staff. I've emailed them twice since we stayed a month ago and they haven't had the courtesy to even reply. Poor.

Very poor stay at this hotel. Stain on bed spread, iron burn on carpet but worse of all a broken radiator in the bathroom. Not what you want on the coldest weekend of the year. Reported to the lady who came round on the Saturday morning and she assured me that she would get someone to fix it. On returning back late Saturday night to radiator not being fixed. If we had not had a drink we would have drove home. Definitely will not be staying again

APPALLING - The worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
This hotel desperately needs someone to do some maintenance.........
NOISY - Our room was on the ground floor on busy traffic junction. It had double glazing & secondary glazing. The secondary glazing was jammed half open & double glazing could not be moved from inside the room. The double glazing was part open, but the only way to close it was to get out of bed in the middle of the night. Put your clothes on. Go outside & force the window closed from outside in the street.
HOT - The rooms had a dilapidated noisy rattling fan, which provided no ventilation.
WATER LEAKS - When we arrived, we noticed some stains on the ceiling (painted over with gloss paint). In the morning, water trickled down the walls when the room upstairs showered. The owners clearly are aware of the problem, but instead of fixing the leaking shower, they simply paint the ceiling below with waterproof paint, diverting the problem.
THE UPSIDE DOWN - Our room had one picture. It was hung the wrong way up!!?. What on Earth. Who owns a hotel & does that by accident?

We chosen the CL purely based on location as we were attending a wedding, arrived 1:30 (check in time was 2 pm) doors lock, rang the bell , waited 10 minutes, the pleasant cleaner saw us and opened saying my colleague will be with you shortly, waited another 15 minutes for the attendant to show up, was pleasant and allowed us to access the room which was appreciated .
Room was big and tidy with sofa bed that was so thin you could feel the springs when sleeping, main bed was ok ,carpet was dirty with stains everywhere ,windows were double glazed with broken lock so road noise was constant.
Ceiling light was out but we didn’t care.
Check out time is 10:30 and no regrets we didn’t book with breakfast. Attendant was very clear if no staff available just drop the key and leave which was the case.
Water pressure was strong and enough but no hot or even warm water
No safe in the room , no hair dryer also no room service or reception to call , we returned 10:30 pm and the shutters were down on the service / reception area.
I’d recommend only if good price and you must stay in the area, wouldn’t stay here again , I believe it should be named Inn instead of hotel .

Excellent room with modern fixtures and fittings, tea & coffee making facilities with all the trimmings. Location is ideal, short walk to the station and a little longer to the town centre.
Only down side is no restaurant or bar, but there is a mini-market just across the road.

Booked and paid for a room on the 14th of may forcthe 21st of July. They have just phoned on the 8th of July to say I can no longer have it . It's too late now to get a room somewhere else everywhere fully booked so I have 2 tickets to a concert at Warwick castle I can't use very poor

Absolutely nice hotel very close to railway station and to town as well. Staff were nice and friendly. It is an 200 years heritage property so accordingly well maintained.
Very close to high street and 5 minutes walk to Warwick castle. Have ample cafés and restaurant around the hotel.

Very small car park if You're lucky to get a space. Rooms are spacious, nice and clean. Window had grotty ripped net curtain but apart from that it was lovely.

Lovely hotel. Service from all the staff was very friendly and professional. Great location for the castle. 4 mins walk (ask staff for directions. There are 2 entrances to the castle, 4min or 24min walk). Plenty of little shops, Pubs and restaurants to choose from. Private parking was a bonus. Room was right on the road, but noise wasn't too off-putting .

Room nice and big with on suite bathroom, staff very friendly
Breakfast not included £10 each for a Continental breakfast only offered us the one morning.
Bathroom had mould all around the tiles, fan didn't work and there was a stain next to the toilet roll holder (looked like poo)
Bed two single bed screwed together with a mattress topper -was comfortable but bed sheets were ripped.
Bedroom next to main road and reception so heard everything

Staff were lovely, service was great.
It's a 3 star so basic.
Room was ok but there was a bad smell, like the carpet had got wet or something, we had to spray perfume & open the windows. Mouldy grouting in bathroom. Beds were comfy.
The noise from outside was really bad, lots of loud cars, engines revving into the early hours, & we could hear people shouting outside the takeaways across the road.
If you have ear plugs you'll be fine, wish I'd remembered mine 🤦♀️

pathetic is the word for this hotel. Extremely rude staff they have. If you will report about the cleanliness issue the answer will be we are cleaning 17 rooms, how can we ensure everything is cleaned

Very impressed by their prompt action when I asked for another hairdryer because the one in the room sounded dangerous, brought another one to our room in a matter of minutes. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Si trova in un posto relativamente comodo. I parcheggi sono 5 in totale, abbiamo dovuto aspettare di trovate posto dall'altra parte della strada.
STANZA ECONOMY molto molto piccola, difficile da starci in due.
Bagno pure piccolino, ma va bene tutto sommato.
Accoglienza un po' fredda e sbrigativa.
C'è l'acqua calda, il materasso è comodo (anche se piccolo, alla "francese"), tutto sommato va bene, ma dalle foto sembrava molto meglio.

Alex the Manager is rude and arrogant. Yelling at guests and really needs education on how to deal appropriately with guests especially women. Wouldn’t stay again solely because of him

Rooms weren't necessarily bad however shower was only burning hot. Owner/manager is very rude screaming at my sibling over not being at breakfast on time. Felt uncomfortable and unwelcomed upon arrival. Manager was screaming at staff outside hotel at 9am in a different language. I have never had a worse experience with staff at a hotel before. FYI don't order the £10 breakfast it's not good and if you are late no refund because it's already been made then thrown in the bin( allegedly) .
Very confused how this hotel has such high reviews? Another member of family had a leak dripping on her face when she woke up.
Plain and simple.... don't stay here unless you like rude staff and bad breakfast.
